Based on new research from Nature Communications, rising sea levels threaten around 200 million people by the year 2100. Rising sea levels to threaten additonaly160 million by higher annual flooding. 

Out of this, 200 million 70% to live in just 8 countries in Asia as China with 43 million, Bangladesh with 32 million, India with 27 million, and the rest from Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, and Japan.

Theoretically, the Netherlands is going to be the most affected with around 4 million people even though it has one of the best flood control networks in the world. Additionally, the UK (1.5 million people at risk), Germany (1 million people), Turkey, France, and Italy (500,000 people each) are also expected to be affected by the year 2100.
