While the most common microplastics source in the world oceans is from the synthetic textiles only 13% of the survey respondents have said that they stopped wearing/buying clothes made from these materials. 

The survey also revealed that recycling more and more plastic products is the most common action taken against the microplastics issue and around 30% said that they are trying to avoid food in plastic packaging while a significant amount of people are trying to avoid drinks from plastic bottles.
