The Safefood released a data on energy drinks being sold in Ireland. Many energy drinks in Ireland contains up to 16 teaspoons of sugar.
Some of the energy drinks like Lucozade Energy cloud lemonade, Bolt, tropicana Energy and monster rehab has bleow 6 teaspoons of sugar like 3.9, 3.2, 4.1 and 2.8 teaspoons respectively. Other drinks has above 6 teaspoons of sugar Example: Boost

The above chart provides an overview of just how much sugar various energy drinks contain. It shows the Grams/teaspoons of sugar per serving of popular energy drinks contain.
The Monster Energy Drink with a serving size of 500 ml has 55 grams of sugar per serving which means 13.8 teaspoons of sugar per serving. This Energy drink tops the highest amount of sugar in Ireland. Next to it was Energise Edge Drink with 12 teaspoons of sugar.
